Who qualifies for help?

The key criterion for being able to call on the Fund’s help is service with the Army Commandos. The various Army Commando units were disbanded at the end of the Second World War as the soldiers returned to their units or were demobbed so service with any other Commando groups does not entitle people to help under the Commando Benevolent Fund’s charity charter.
